Global Clean Energy Program

While some nations have made significant progress toward adopting clean energy for cooking, many countries are still far from that reality. In parts of the world, households have access to modern fuels and technologies that allow families to cook safely and efficiently without harming their health or the environment. Yet across much of Africa, Asia, and Latin America, billions of people still rely on wood, charcoal, kerosene, coal, and other polluting fuels for their daily cooking needs.

Cenergy Solutions has a program to convert these countries to utilize their waste and supply all countries with clean biogas for cooking. This program is designed to be financially sustainable, with the potential to generate a return on investment within three years. It also helps retain energy spending within the country and provides governments with opportunities to generate additional tax revenue. By turning organic waste into clean energy, communities can reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels, improve public health, create local jobs, and move toward long-term energy independence. Clean cooking should not be a privilege limited to a few nations it should be accessible to every community worldwide.

Ending the Global Cooking Crisis Through

Waste-to-Energy Solutions

  • The world is facing a triple energy crisis driven by rising energy price volatility, growing energy poverty, and health and environmental damage from traditional fuels.

  • Global population is projected to exceed 8.2 billion people in 2026, increasing pressure on energy systems worldwide.

  • Approximately 2.3 billion people still lack access to clean cooking energy and rely on wood, charcoal, and animal dung.

  • Household air pollution from traditional cooking fuels causes over 3.2 million premature deaths annually, primarily impacting women and children.

  • These deaths exceed the combined mortality rates of Malaria, HIV, and Tuberculosis.

  • Governments globally spend trillions of dollars in healthcare costs treating preventable respiratory illnesses caused by dirty cooking fuels.

  • Cenergy Solutions’ patented ABG cylinders, produced ISO standards, safely stores and distributes biogas for over 20 years.

  • Over the 20-year lifespan of Cenergy Solutions cylinders, an estimated 64 million lives could be saved globally.

  • The world generates approximately 2.1 billion tons of municipal solid waste annually plus billions of tons of livestock manure.

  • This waste could produce over 1.5 trillion cubic meters of biogas.

  • Excess biogas could generate the equivalent of 400 billion gallons of gasoline for vehicles, tricycles, and generators.

  • Households could save an estimated $4.2 trillion in direct energy costs over 20 years.

  • Governments could save approximately $15 trillion in healthcare costs and lost productivity.

  • Capturing methane from landfills and livestock waste could reduce emissions by an estimated 35 billion tons of CO2 equivalent annually.

  • Biogas systems produce organic fertilizer that could save the global agriculture sector $150 billion annually.
